Sri Kalabhairavar Temple is located at Adhiyaman Kottai near Dharmapuri in Tamil Nadu. The temple is dedicated to Lord Kalabhairavar, a powerful form of Lord Shiva. The temple celebrates special occasions dedicated to Lord Kalabhairavar, particularly Ashtami days, which are considered highly auspicious for Bhairava worship. The Ashtami following the full moon, known as Kala Bhairava Ashtami, is observed with special prayers and rituals. Devotees also visit the temple on new moon days and other important Shiva-related occasions. During special festivals, abhishekam, alankaram, special poojas and other religious ceremonies are performed, attracting large numbers of devotees.
