In a social media post, the CM extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, remembering Shiv Kumar as an exceptional professional and a respected figure in the field.
A Hyderabad native, Shiv Kumar had an illustrious career with The Indian Express (now The New Indian Express) and later The Hindu, retiring as Senior Special News Photographer. Known for his award-winning photography, he was also lauded for pursuing multiple professional qualifications.
He is survived by his wife and son.
