Hyderabad: The Hare Krishna Golden Temple in Banjara Hills marked Gita Jayanthi with devotion, commemorating Lord Krishna’s delivery of the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna.
The event began with a full recitation of the 700 Sanskrit shlokas from 9 AM to 5 PM. In the evening, devotees recited and discussed 108 key shlokas. Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhuji, President of Hare Krishna Movement Hyderabad, highlighted the Gita’s universal relevance, calling it a “global solution for life’s challenges.”
The celebrations concluded with a grand Maha Arati to Sri Radha Govinda and Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, followed by the distribution of prasadam to attendees.
