Injured KCR rushed to a private corporate hospital

Hyderabad:  Former Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) founder K Chandrasekhara Rao (KCR), on Friday morning was rushed to a private corporate hospital after he hurt his leg at his farmhouse.

According to party sources, KCR slipped and fell at his farmhouse leading to an injury. He was soon taken to a private corporate hospital at Somajiguda late at midnight on Thursday. He is being treated at the hospital.

KCR is believed to have suffered a serious hip fracture. The doctors attending to him is reportedly planning for surgery, it is learned. However, the team of doctors who are monitoring his condition, are expected to take a final call during treatment and check his test reports.

It is no secret that the former chief minister is a known acute diabetic patient had been getting treatment from time to time at the said corporate hospital.

Incidentally, KCR and his party suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Congress last week.  He lost  to the BJP official nominee Venkat Ramana Reddy in Kamareddy, where the latter defeat the present Congress and former BRS Chief Ministers by around 3000 plus votes.
