Tesla opens first Experience Centre in Hyderabad, fifth in India

Hyderabad: Global EV giant Tesla on Wednesday said it had opened its first Experience Centre in Hyderabad and its fifth in India.

Customers can explore the new 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive and Model Y L at the centre, according to a press release.

“Visitors can explore the vehicles through guided walkarounds and immersive product experiences led by Tesla Advisors. Customers can learn about Tesla’s design philosophy, electric vehicle technology, safety features, and performance capabilities in an interactive environment,” it said.

With the latest addition, Tesla now operates Experience Centres in New Delhi, Mumbai, Gurugram, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.

The newly launched 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive offers 2,138 litres of storage space, seating for up to five passengers and power-folding seats. The vehicle can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 5.9 seconds and delivers a range of up to 500 km (WLTP). It is priced at Rs 50.89 lakh, with a down payment of Rs 6 lakh and EMIs starting at Rs 39,990 per month. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in July 2026.

The Hyderabad centre will also showcase the Model Y L, an all-wheel-drive SUV designed for families. Featuring a three-row, six-seat configuration, the vehicle offers enhanced headroom and legroom, a range of up to 681 km (WLTP), acceleration from 0-100 kmph in 5.0 seconds, and cargo capacity of up to 2,539 litres. The Model Y L is priced from Rs 61.99 lakh, with a down payment of Rs 6.5 lakh and EMIs starting at Rs 49,990 per month.
