Andhra Dy CM launches development works worth over Rs 2,000 cr in tribal areas

Kakawada (Andhra Pradesh): Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Sunday launched over 2,500 development works worth Rs 2,052 crore in Polavaram district under the ‘Adavi Talli Bata 2.0’ programme.

Addressing a village meeting at Kakawada, the actor-politician said the works would include the construction of 45 bridges and laying of 1,976 km of roads in tribal settlements.

“Under the Adavi Talli Bata 2.0 programme, 1,976 km long roads will be laid and 45 bridges will be built in 1,341 tribal settlements,” said Kalyan, adding that development works worth Rs 1,406 crore were undertaken under the same ‘Adavi Talli Bata’ programme earlier in various districts.

The foundation stone was laid for a 3.4-km road at Kakavada village in Rampachodavaram Mandal (Alluri Sitharama Raju district / Polavaram region), directly benefiting 1,400 tribal families across four villages.
