Another story says that Lord Rama and Goddess Sita visited this mountain during their exile. Sita asked Hanuman for proof that he had disturbed Ravana’s penance. In response, Hanuman drew a line on the rock 11 times with his little finger while chanting Lord Rama’s name. This caused the rock to split, and a divine idol of Hanuman appeared in the middle. Even today, people visit this sacred site to worship the idol.
