Adityanath prays for Modi’s long-term guidance for country

Gorakhpur:  Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday prayed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “long-term guidance” for the country, saying India will realise the vision of a self-reliant and developed nation under his leadership.

Addressing the Shri Vishwakarma Puja Utsav in Gorakhpur, Adityanath also prayed for Modi’s good health and long life on his 76th birthday.

“I pray to God, wishing for the Prime Minister’s health and glorious long life, that the country continues to receive his guidance for a long time and that under his leadership, India realises the vision of a self-reliant and developed India,” he said.

“Heartiest birthday greetings to respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is dedicated to the uninterrupted national endeavour to bring a new dawn of happiness, prosperity, security and self-respect into the lives of 145 crore Indians, the world’s most popular political leader, visionary of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat’, architect of the ‘New India’ and our guide,” Adityanath said.

“Your life dedicated to the sacred resolve of ‘Nation First’, devotion to duty and public welfare is an inspiration for realising the goal of ‘Viksit Bharat’. Under your leadership, India is setting new milestones in self-reliance, good governance, cultural renaissance and global prestige,” he said.

Adityanath also prayed for Modi’s health and longevity.

UP BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary wished Modi on his birthday, saying the prime minister had given a new direction to public service with the resolve to put the nation first.

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav and BSP supremo Mayawati also wished Modi on his birthday.

“Birthday greetings to the Prime Minister and best wishes for a healthy, active and meaningful life,” Yadav said on X.

“Heartiest birthday greetings to respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 76th birthday and wishes for a healthy life,” Mayawati said on X.

Senior seers associated with the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Ayodhya, also extended birthday greetings to Modi.

Trust chairman Mahant Nritya Gopal Das wrote a letter to the prime minister conveying his birthday wishes.

Trust general secretary Swami Govind Dev Giri also released a video statement wishing Modi on his birthday, describing him as a “great son of Bharat Mata” and saying he would be remembered as an “epoch-maker”.

Govind Dev Giri said the construction of the Ram temple and the abrogation of Article 370, among other achievements, would remain memorable in history.

He wished Modi a long life, saying, “May you live forever, may you complete 100 years and may you be victorious.” Ram temple Trust general secretary also conveyed his “crores of good wishes” to Modi on his birthday.

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya highlighted what he described as Modi’s sensitivity and personal connect with people and party workers.

“Among the greatest qualities of the successful Prime Minister, respected Narendra Modi, are his sensitivity, simplicity and warmth,” Maurya said.

“I have many memories from my life when the prime minister’s warmth deeply moved me. Even amid such great responsibilities, his ability to deeply understand the feelings of 140 crore Indians and each and every worker is proof that he is a true ‘Pradhan Sevak’,” he said.

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak described Modi’s life as an example of dedication to national service, public service and the welfare of the poorest.

“Heartiest congratulations and best wishes from the bottom of my heart to respected Narendra Modi, the successful Prime Minister, the world’s most popular leader and the pride of India, on his 76th birthday,” Pathak said.

Modi was born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, a small town in Gujarat.

Since 2014, Modi has represented Varanasi as its Lok Sabha MP.
