Ranchi: The Gujarat Police arrested a man from Jharkhand’s Deoghar district on Saturday, whose email id was allegedly used to send threats to explode the secretariat in Gandhinagar and carry out a blast at the ongoing BRICS summit in New Delhi, a senior official said.
The man, a native of Bihar’s Jamui, was arrested from Town police station area, he said.
“Gujarat Police officers arrived in Deoghar on Friday night in connection with the email and apprehended the person on Saturday,” SP Praveen Pushkar told PTI.
