BJP Applauds TTD’s Administrative Reforms

Hyderabad: The BJP’s state unit has welcomed the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Board’s recent resolution to streamline its administration by relieving non-Hindu employees from its ranks. The decision, aimed at restoring the sanctity of the revered shrine, has been met with enthusiasm from the party and Hindu devotees alike.

State BJP spokesperson N.V. Subhash expressed gratitude for the changes under the leadership of the new TTD Chairman, B.R. Naidu, describing them as “long overdue.” “This step has brought joy and reassurance to devotees, as the spiritual significance of the Lord Venkateswara temple, often referred to as the Vatican for Hindus, is being preserved,” he said.

Subhash criticized previous administrations, accusing them of compromising Hindu sentiments in the name of secularism. He also defended the removal of non-Hindu employees, arguing that those without faith in Lord Venkateswara or Hindu traditions are ill-suited to serve in such a sacred institution.

“This is a historic step toward preserving the spiritual and cultural heritage of Tirumala,” Subhash stated, adding that political agendas should be kept away from places of worship. The BJP affirmed its full support for the TTD’s initiatives.
