Kadapa (Andhra Pradesh): Deals on tourism projects worth Rs 500 crore were inked in the presence of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Andhra Pradesh Tourism Investors Programme at Gandikota Fort in Kadapa district on Friday.
Andhra Pradesh Tourism Corporation inked these deals with Ease My Trip, Hilton Hotels, and others for tourism projects at various locations.
“These agreements have been inked in the presence of the CM to set up tourism projects at various places in the state. Ease my Trip, Hilton Hotels, and several other organisations inked deals worth Rs 500 crore with Andhra Pradesh Tourism Corporation,” said an official press release.
The collaborations are set to pave the way for a series of projects that include the construction of hotels and amenities for adventure sports across hotspots like Gandikota, Srisailam, and Tirupati. The initiatives fall under Central Government schemes such as Swadesh Darshan and SASKY, with Gandikota destined to become a world-class tourist destination.
Naidu emphasized the state’s strategic push towards eco-tourism and adventure tourism, unveiling plans for 50,000 hotel rooms statewide. The ‘Grand Canyon of India’ aims to be a global magnet for travelers, with Gandikota’s master plan spearheading the transformation.
