Guwahati: Rohit Sharma added another major record to his name during India’s second ODI against West Indies in Guwahati. The India opener became the first batter in the world to hit 200 sixes in ODI cricket on home soil.
India were chasing a huge target of 406 after West Indies posted 405/7 in their first innings. Rohit and Shubman Gill got India off to a flying start, with Rohit taking the attack to the West Indies bowlers from the beginning.

Rohit reached his half-century in only 33 balls, with his innings including five fours and four sixes. Those four maximums took his tally of ODI sixes in India to 200.
