Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has announced the commencement of the Men’s Under-19 One-Day Super League 2026–27, featuring six teams as part of its preparations for the upcoming domestic season.
In addition to the six Super League teams, the HCA has constituted a seventh Under-19 team to play one-day practice matches against the visiting Bengal Under-19 side.
The practice games against Bengal are intended to provide an additional opportunity for player assessment and preparation ahead of the Vinoo Mankad One-Day Tournament 2026–27.
The HCA said the Hyderabad Under-19 State Team for the Vinoo Mankad tournament will be selected after completion of the Super League matches and the practice matches against Bengal. Performances in all these games will form part of the assessment process for selection of the final state squad.
The Association has asked all participating players, teams, coaches, support staff and officials to extend their cooperation to ensure the smooth conduct of the matches.
The Super League and Bengal practice games are expected to provide the selectors with a wider opportunity to identify and assess promising Under-19 talent for Hyderabad’s state team.
