Mumbai: Hyderabad wicketkeeper-batter Mamata Madiwala has earned a place in the India A squad for the upcoming multi-format home series against Australia A, marking another significant step in her cricketing career.
The Women’s Selection Committee has announced the India A squads for a tour comprising three T20s, three One-Day matches and a Multi-Day fixture against Australia A.
Mamata has been selected for the Multi-Day fixture, where she will join an experienced group led by Yastika Bhatia, who has been named captain, with Anushka Sharma as vice-captain.
The three-match T20 series will be played in New Chandigarh, while the three One-Day matches are scheduled at the PCA Stadium, Mohali. The tour will conclude with the Multi-Day fixture in Dharamshala.
