ATL Hails ISRO’s CMS-03 Launch Success

Hyderabad: Ananth Technologies Ltd. (ATL), a prominent contributor to India’s space ecosystem, has congratulated the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on the successful launch of the CMS-03 (GSAT-7R) multi-band military communication satellite aboard the LVM3-M5 launch vehicle. The achievement marks yet another major stride in strengthening India’s secure communication capabilities and advancing its space-based infrastructure.

The LVM3-M5 mission reinforces the exceptional capability of India’s heaviest operational launch vehicle, renowned for its precision and reliability in placing large satellites into geostationary transfer orbit. This successful flight further boosts ISRO’s confidence in deploying high-throughput satellites that enhance national telecommunication, secure defence communications, television services, and digital connectivity across mainland India and island territories.

CMS-03, built on the robust I-3K satellite platform, operates across multiple frequency bands, enabling enhanced bandwidth and uninterrupted communication services for civilian, maritime, and strategic operations.

As a long-standing industry partner of ISRO, Ananth Technologies supplied several mission-critical avionics and control systems for the LVM3-M5 launcher, including navigation and guidance components, electro-mechanical actuators, control electronics, and power supply modules vital to launch success.

For the CMS-03 satellite, ATL delivered a wide range of advanced subsystems manufactured at its world-class facilities. These include power control and distribution systems, telemetry and telecommand units for satellite–ground communication, payload DC-DC converters, and star sensors used for precise in-orbit navigation.

Expressing pride in the milestone, Dr. Subba Rao Pavuluri, Chairman of ATL, said, “The successful launch of LVM3-M5 carrying CMS-03 is yet another proud moment in India’s space journey. We are honoured to contribute to ISRO’s legacy of excellence and to play our part in advancing national space capabilities and self-reliance.”

For over three decades, Hyderabad-headquartered ATL has partnered in more than 107 satellites and 87 launch vehicle missions through cutting-edge manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru and Thiruvananthapuram. The company continues to champion India’s aspirations for global leadership in space with an unwavering focus on precision engineering, innovation, and reliability.
