Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has issued a rain alert for Telangana, forecasting showers across several districts over the next three days. Authorities have placed multiple regions under a yellow alert, urging residents to remain vigilant.
According to MET officials here, light to moderate rainfall accompanied by gusty winds, thunder, and lightning is expected in various parts of the state. Wind speeds may reach 30–40 km/h. Citizens are advised not to take shelter under trees during thunderstorms and to avoid going outdoors unless necessary.
Unseasonal weather changes have been observed across Telangana this year. Since late January, the state has recorded unusually high temperatures, turning many areas into virtual heat zones by mid-March.
