Naidu attends foundation stone laying ceremony for temple construction

Amarvati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday attended the foundation stone laying ceremony for construction of a temple at Hare Krishna Gokula Kshetram in Kolanukonda here.

The Chief Minister offered prayers and participated in ‘Ananta Sesha Stphana’ (ritual) for Sri Venkateswara temple.

“Hare Krishna movement is an institution which instills confidence to execute any programme smoothly in this world,” said Naidu, addressing a congregation at the temple complex.

Addressing the congregation at the temple complex, Naidu praised the Hare Krishna movement for its capacity to execute large-scale projects efficiently. He announced the commencement of the Rs 150 crore temple project and expressed confidence in its successful execution.

Naidu highlighted that 20 similar projects are underway across India, with an additional five projects around the world. He pledged support for the movement’s future endeavors and hoped the new temple, situated on 6.5 acres, would emerge as a significant center for public consciousness.

Former Chief Justice of India NV Ramana also attended the ceremony.
