Hanoi: National Security Advisor Ajit Doval arrived in Vietnam on Sunday on an official visit, during which he will hold talks with the country’s leadership to deepen bilateral ties.
Doval’s visit is in line with the India-Vietnam Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, the Indian embassy in Hanoi said in a social media post.
In May, India and Vietnam elevated their ties to an enhanced comprehensive strategic partnership and set a USD 25 billion annual trade target by 2030.
“NSA, during the visit, will interact with the Vietnamese leadership in line with the India-Vietnam Enhanced Comprehensive Strategic Partnership,” the embassy said.
