Have you ever wondered why some highly capable people work incredibly hard, yet seem to achieve far less than their true potential?
Perhaps the problem is not always the effort we put in…
Perhaps it is the energy we unknowingly allow to escape.
Imagine a beautiful pot being filled with water.
We keep pouring more and more into it—
knowledge, hard work, ambition, money, relationships, experience and opportunities.
Yet the pot never seems to become full.
Why?
Because somewhere beneath our awareness, there may be holes.
We lose energy through what we:
👁️ See — comparison, negativity, distractions, endless stimulation
👂 Hear — criticism, gossip, fear and unnecessary noise
🍽️ Consume — unhealthy food, excessive information and mindless content
🗣️ Speak — complaints, anger, judgement and arguments
🧠 Think — anxiety, resentment, overthinking, regret and imagined fears
❤️ Chase — validation, status and things that may not truly matter
The fascinating part?
Most energy drains don’t feel like energy drains.
They quietly become habits.
And perhaps that is why simply working harder doesn’t always transform our lives.
> THE REAL QUESTION
Instead of asking:
“How can I put more into my life?”
perhaps we should sometimes ask:
“What am I allowing to drain out of my life?”
Because productivity is not only about generating more energy.
It is also about preserving, protecting and directing the energy we already possess.
> A DIFFERENT WAY OF LIVING
What if we consciously became more selective about:
*What we see.
What we hear.
What we consume.
What we speak.
What we think.
What we give our attention to.*
Not by withdrawing from the world…
But by becoming conscious of what we allow into our inner world.
When the noise reduces, clarity emerges.
When clarity emerges, thought becomes powerful.
When thought becomes stable, action becomes purposeful.
And when purposeful action becomes consistent…
Potential begins to unfold.
> THE DEEPER REALISATION
Perhaps “connecting with cosmic energy” does not necessarily mean acquiring something from outside.
Perhaps it means removing the noise that prevents us from experiencing the deeper energy, awareness and creativity already within us.
We don’t always need to become someone else.
Sometimes…
We simply need to stop leaking the person we already have the potential to become.
*Close the leaks.
Protect your energy.
Purify your inputs.
Stabilise your mind.
Choose your thoughts.
Direct your attention.
Create with purpose.*
And slowly, the pot stops merely being filled…
### *IT BEGINS TO OVERFLOW.*
*That overflow is clarity.
That overflow is creativity.
That overflow is courage.
That overflow is compassion.
That overflow is purpose.
That overflow is YOUR TRUE POTENTIAL.*
✨ Perhaps the next level of our life is not waiting for us to work harder…
Perhaps it is waiting for us to stop leaking.
