Kolkata: West Bengal Governor RN Ravi on Thursday held a closed-door meeting with newly appointed Chief Secretary Dushyant Nariyala, Home Secretary Sanghamitra Ghosh, and senior police officers at Lok Bhavan, a well-placed source said.
The meeting, which lasted around 30 minutes, was also attended by DGP Siddh Nath Gupta, ADG (Law and Order) Ajey Mukund Ranade, and Kolkata Police Commissioner Ajay Kumar Nand.
It was described as “only a courtesy meeting,” the source said, adding that the meeting started around noon and was over in 30 minutes.
