England opted to bat first after winning the toss. However, they were bowled out for 248 runs in 47.4 overs. Jos Buttler and Jacob Bethell were the top scorers, both registering half-centuries. For India, Harshit Rana and Ravindra Jadeja impressed with three wickets each, while Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, and Axar Patel chipped in with one wicket apiece.
