Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh): At least two people were killed in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur district on Tuesday when a passenger train collided with a goods train near Jairamnagar station. Preliminary reports indicate that the crash involved a local passenger train and a freight train.
According to a report by India TV, rescue and relief teams have reached the site, and efforts are ongoing to aid the injured and evaluate the extent of the damage.
Some other channels, like the Republic TV, reported that as many as three bogies derailed. It was a head-on collision.
