Sangareddy: In a gesture of gratitude to his native village, Hyderabad Press Club Manager Lakshmi Ramchander on Tuesday donated an RO mineral water plant to the Zilla Parishad School at Suraram village in Chinna Sankarampet mandal of Medak district.
The donation was made in memory of his parents, Shyammama and Narahari. The government school has a student strength of 152.
After formally inaugurating the RO plant, Ramchander assured the school management of his continued support. Describing himself as a “son of the soil,” he said he would extend all possible assistance to help improve facilities and encourage students to pursue their education with confidence.
