Revanth’s Cabinet approves judicial probe headed by retd SC judge

Hyderabad: The state cabinet which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday cleaned its proposal to build 4.5 lakh houses this year alone at a total away of Rs 22.500 crore.

Briefing newsmen later Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, D Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar, and Komatireddy Venkatreddysaid that the Cabinet has also cleared another proposal to provide white ration cards to eligible soon, and necessary guidelines will be formulated in next couple of days.

They also that the Cabinet has cleared the proposal to establish separate Corporations for various predominant castes in the state like; Mudiraj, Ydava Kurma, Munnurukapu, Padmashali, Perika, Medara, Gangaputra, and Lingayath.

Besides these corporations meant to take care of all these castes, the Cabinet has also agreed to set up separate Welfare Boards for Economically Backward Classes like Aryavysya Corporation, Reddy Corporation, Mala and its subsects corporation, Madiga and its subsects corporation, Komarambheem Adivasi Corporation, Sant Sevalal Lambadi corporation and Ekalavya Corporation.

The Cabinet also gave its assent for Women empowerment – 25-30 acres of land will be earmarked near Outer Ring Road for setting up Bazaars exclusively for women; and for setting up of a judicial commission to enquire about the irregularities and corruption committed in the Kaleswaram Project. It will be headed by former Supreme Court Judge Pinakini Chandra Ghosh. Report to be submitted within 100 days.

Similarly, retired Justice L Narasimha Reddy commission to enquire about irregularities in Bhadradri, Yadadri power projects. The commission will also enquire power purchase agreement with the Chattisgarh government made by the previous government.

They said, 84 percent of beneficiaries have received Rythu Bandhu amount. In the next two days, it will reach 93 percent.

The Cabinet also agrees to provide jobs to DSC – 2008 qualified teachers.

Cabinet-authorized officials to take steps to take steps to ensure that there is no drinking water scarcity during the summer season.

The Civil Supplies department has been asked to submit a report on segregating white ration cards and Aarogyasri cards.
