Hyderabad: The BJP state unit president, N. Ramachander Rao, has appointed Neelakantam Alekya Pratap as the District Secretary of the Secunderabad Mahankali District.
According to a press release, Alekya Pratap received congratulatory messages from Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy and Dr. K. Laxman, MP and President of the BJP’s National OBC Morcha. Expressing gratitude for her appointment, Alekya Pratap thanked Mahankali District President Gundagoni Bharat Goud and party leaders and cadres for their continued support.
Several BJP leaders expressed confidence that her commitment to the party’s ideology and strong grassroots connect would help strengthen the party’s organisational presence in the district.
Alekya Pratap holds postgraduate qualifications in Finance (MSc) along with BMS, B.Ed, and M.Ed degrees, and a PG diploma in counselling skills. She has served in leadership roles across educational institutions and is associated with academic and alumni bodies, including the Osmania Graduates Association.
