Revanth Reddy Hails Dattatreya as ‘Ajata Shatruvu’

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday released the autobiography of Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, titled Prajala Kathe – Naa Atma Katha, in Hyderabad.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister hailed Dattatreya as an “Ajata Shatruvu” — one without enemies — and praised his rise from the narrow lanes of Gouliguda to the nation’s constitutional high office. Revanth Reddy lauded Dattatreya’s lifelong commitment to public service, noting that despite occupying key positions in state and national politics, the veteran leader remained deeply rooted in people’s issues.

Recalling his personal rapport and long association with the BJP stalwart, Revanth drew a parallel between Dattatreya and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, calling them both widely respected leaders who transcended party lines. “Even when not in power, Dattatreya commands admiration across the political spectrum,” the CM observed.

Highlighting Dattatreya’s annual ‘Alai-Bhalai’ programme as a symbol of goodwill and inclusive politics, Revanth said such gestures reflect his statesmanlike stature.

Addressing aspiring politicians, the Chief Minister urged them to emulate the ideals of Dattatreya and former Congress leader P. Janardhan Reddy (PJR), both of whom he described as champions of the urban poor. “Their legacy continues to inspire our government’s people-centric policies,” he added.

The event was attended by senior political leaders and well-wishers across party lines, underlining Dattatreya’s enduring popularity and unifying presence in public life
