Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will release the second tranche of funds of Rs 5,653 crore under the ‘Rythu Bharosa’ investment support scheme for farmers on April 20.
Reddy will launch the disbursement of the second instalment at a public meeting to be held at Kataram in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district, benefiting over 45 lakh farmers, official sources said on Saturday.
On March 22, Reddy had said that Rs 9,000 crore under ‘Rythu Bharosa’ would be credited in three instalments to 70 lakh farmers within 45 days.
