As far as the establishment of this temple, which has become a centre of faith, is concerned, the elderly woman of the village, late Padma Devi, wife of Shri Ramkaran Gaidar, did it hundreds of years ago as a result of her religious devotion. Ram Devra, or Runicha Dham, which is situated in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, is a centre of faith for devotees from all over the country and abroad. As a result of her devotion and faith, she laid the foundation of the Baba Ramdev temple in her village.
