Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has mandated officials to secure a top spot for the state in the Ease of Doing Business rankings. Addressing the first district collectors’ conference of the new NDA government at the secretariat, Naidu issued comprehensive instructions across various departments for the state’s ‘reconstruction.’
Naidu emphasised that Andhra Pradesh needs to reclaim its top position in ease of doing business, reminding officials of the distinction the state enjoyed during the TDP government from 2014 to 2019. He pointed out issues in road construction and criticised the forest department’s objections, while also blaming the YSRCP government for neglecting infrastructure.
The chief minister also called for rapid completion of essential infrastructure projects, including nine ports, 10 airports, railway crossings, and flyovers. He underscored the need for zero power cuts and criticised the previous government’s policies for causing a power deficit. Highlighting the importance of rebuilding the state’s tarnished brand image, Naidu committed to holding collectors’ conferences quarterly to guide the state’s development.
