New Delhi: Bollywood actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal shared a picture alongside their son on social media and said they have named him Vihaan Kaushal.
The couple uploaded a collaborative post on their respective Instagram handles on Wednesday as they announced the news.
The post featured the couple holding Vihaan’s hand. “Our Ray of Light. Vihaan Kaushal. Prayers are answered. Life is beautiful. Our world is changed in an instant. Gratitude beyond words,” read the caption.
The heartfelt message quickly drew warm reactions from fans and peers alike, with actors like Parineeti Chopra commenting, “Little buddy,” and other celebrities flooding the comments with heart emojis and congratulatory notes.
According to several reports, Vihaan, of Sanskrit origin — signifies “dawn,” “sunrise,” or the beginning of a new era, aligning beautifully with the couple’s new chapter as parents. In addition, there’s a subtle connection fans have spotted with Vicky Kaushal’s breakout role as Major Vihaan Singh Shergill in the 2019 film Uri: The Surgical Strike, a performance that remains one of his most significant in Hindi cinema.
