Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and the three-match ODI series against England.
Rohit Sharma will lead the team in Dubai, with Jasprit Bumrah also getting the nod for the global tournament. The speedster was injured during the fifth and final Test against Australia.
Mohammed Shami, who played his last ODI in 2023, is also back in the side for the global tournament. Shreyas Iyer has been recalled, while KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant are the two wicket-keeping options.
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill, who were rested from the five-match T20I series against England, are also part of the unit.
