Air India Elevates Global Travel with A350, Offering a New Era of Premium Air Travel

Gurugram (Haryana): Air India has taken a major step in its transformation journey by enhancing its Delhi-London service with the introduction of the cutting-edge Airbus A350. This move is part of the airline’s broader plan to extend this premium service to the US and other international destinations, under its Vihaan.AI initiative aimed at revolutionizing long-haul travel.

The newly launched Airbus A350 comes equipped with a fresh three-class configuration, offering 28 private suites in Business Class with full-flat beds, 24 Premium Economy seats featuring extra legroom, and 264 state-of-the-art Economy seats. Each seat is fitted with the latest-generation Panasonic eX3 in-flight entertainment system, providing passengers with over 3,000 hours of global entertainment content across 13 international and 8 regional Indian languages. A dedicated section with 100+ hours of content for children will soon be complemented by onboard Wi-Fi.

Business and Premium Economy travelers will also enjoy a heightened luxury experience with specially designed amenity kits from Ferragamo and TUMI. Air India’s new Vista Verve soft product, featuring upgraded chinaware, tableware, glassware, and bedding, enhances the overall in-flight experience. The cuisine, designed to cater to both Indian and international palates, will be served in elegant India-inspired chinaware, adding a culturally rich touch to the dining experience.

In its ongoing commitment to elevate its fleet, Air India has launched a refit program for its legacy aircraft, starting with the A320neo. This model will soon feature a three-cabin configuration with 8 luxurious Business Class seats, 24 extra-legroom seats in Premium Economy, and 132 Economy Class seats. The upgraded cabin will include new seating, carpets, curtains, enhanced lighting, and USB ports for a modern travel experience.

Further enhancing the passenger journey, Air India is introducing premium lounges at major international hubs, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Dubai, London, New York, and San Francisco. These exclusive lounges promise a seamless blend of comfort and luxury, ensuring a world-class experience from start to finish.

Founded by aviation pioneer JRD Tata in 1932, Air India has grown into a global airline with a network spanning 29 countries across five continents. Following its return to the Tata Group in 2022, the airline embarked on the Vihaan.AI transformation journey, aimed at positioning Air India as a global airline with an Indian heart.

Having completed the initial phases of its five-year plan, focusing on foundational improvements and growth strategies, Air India is now entering the ‘Climb’ phase, where it aims to excel in operations and customer service. A proud member of Star Alliance, the world’s largest global airline network, Air India continues to offer seamless international connectivity while its subsidiary, Air India Express, caters to domestic and regional routes as a low-cost carrier.

With its new fleet and service enhancements, Air India is poised to redefine the passenger experience and expand its reach across international skies.
