Dr. Priyanka Saurabh and Dr. Satyawan Saurabh selected for the National Sahityanchal Award

Actively writing in India and abroad, a literary couple of authors of 27 books selected for the Sahityanchal Samman”

Bhilwara, Rajasthan: Important news has come from Bhilwara, which has become an industrial city as well as a land of literary pursuits. In the results declared by Sahityanchal Sanstha, the literary couple Dr. Priyanka Saurabh and Dr. Satyawan Saurabh of village Barwa in Siwani Mandi have been selected for the national-level honour.

According to the declared list, Dr. Priyanka Saurabh has been selected for “Sushila Devi Khamesara National Sahityanchal Samman” (₹5100) and Dr. Satyawan Saurabh has been selected for “Swaroop Singh Khamesara National Sahityanchal Samman” (₹5100).

This couple is not only active writers, but also writes editorials in various languages ​​for thousands of newspapers in India and abroad every day. So far, 17 books by Dr. Satyavan Saurabh and 10 books by Dr. Priyanka Saurabh have been published in various genres.

Along with writing on contemporary topics, both poets also write poems, couplets, stories, short stories and children’s poems, which bring out the wide form of their creativity. Both hold doctorate degrees in political science.

Reacting to the selection, Dr. Priyanka Saurabh said –

“For me, words are not just expressions but the basis of life. This selection will give new inspiration to the journey of literary pursuit.”

Whereas Dr. Satyawan Saurabh said –

“The path of literary pursuit is difficult, but when society and institutions recognize it, then this penance becomes meaningful.”

It is worth mentioning that Sahityanchal Sanstha has been providing a platform and honour to litterateurs for years. This effort of the Sanstha is not only strengthening the literary stream but is also inspiring the new generation.
