Dr. B. Sandhyaa Rani
In the dance of colours, everything feels just right,
As joy fills the air and Gen Z sways to Govinda’s beats.
Yonder bonfires remind us to let go of old hurts,
Marking a triumph of good over evil.
As winter fades and spring’s blossoms break,
The warm sunlight invites a swirl of freedom,
And a symphony of colours rises and flows
Like a crimson stream, unfurling a canvas of vibrant dreams.
From Prahlad’s devotion against evil’s hate
To Mathura’s lanes, where Lathmar Holi teaches
The joy of teasing and trust,
With every splash, a bond we create.
In bhangra’s rhythm, bhang flows free;
We dance to the beat, letting our spirits soar.
In Bengal’s embrace, where Radha songs resonate,
Traditions twirl in a space where love springs.
Relishing gujiya, sweet delight to share,
Thandai’s chill and malpua’s warm flair.
Each savoury bite, like dahi bhalla’s embrace,
Holi’s essence transcends time and space.
As the atmosphere warms,
With colours poppin’ and beats droppin’,
It’s time to celebrate the joy of togetherness and relationships
In the magic of Holi!
