ATL celebrates ISRO’S successful launch of SSLV as a contributor

Hyderabad: The city-based Ananth Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (ATL), a leading aerospace innovator, extended its congratulations to ISRO for successful launch of Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) on Friday.

The company has been a long-term partner of ISRO, contributing to various space programs, including the EOS-8 satellite and SSLV-D3 mission.

EOS-8, an Earth Observation Satellite, is designed to provide critical data for applications in agriculture, forestry, water resources, and disaster management. It is part of ISRO’s ongoing series of Earth Observation Satellites, aimed at delivering high-resolution imagery and other valuable data.

ATL played a pivotal role in the success of the EOS-8 satellite, supplying power converter modules for the Inertial Reference Unit, essential for providing navigation data. Additionally, ATL was responsible for supplying the Navigation, Guidance, and Control System (NGC), pyro system, power switching module for NGC, and Telemetry, Tracking, and Control Packages (TTCP) for the SSLV-D3 launch vehicle.

Beyond manufacturing subsystems, ATL also undertook the sub-assembly integration of key components, including the Base Shroud, C1 & C2 sub-assemblies, SS3 EB interface, and motor wiring for the SSLV-D3.

Dr. Subba Rao Pavuluri, Chairman and Managing Director of ATL, expressed his enthusiasm for the successful launch, stating, “Ananth Technologies extends its heartfelt congratulations to ISRO for the successful launch of SSLV and the EOS-8 satellite. This achievement further strengthens India’s leadership in space exploration and satellite technology. We are proud to support ISRO’s mission and look forward to continuing our collaboration in future endeavors.”

This launch is particularly significant for ATL as EOS-8 marks the milestone of being the 100th satellite to which the company has contributed. ATL, headquartered in Hyderabad, operates dedicated facilities in Thiruvananthapuram and Bengaluru, specializing in the fabrication, assembly, testing, and supply of advanced electronic packages, computer systems, and various subsystems for launch vehicles.

To date, Ananth Technologies has made significant contributions to 100 satellites and 80 launch vehicles, reinforcing its reputation as a committed partner in India’s space exploration efforts.
