Hyderabad: The city-based DESIRE Society organized a World AIDS Day walk to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS. US Consul General Jennifer flagged off the event, commending its importance in promoting HIV awareness.
The event, attended by DESIRE Society President R.P. Patnaik, saw participation from representatives of leading corporates, including JPMC, Oracle, Accenture, and Capgemini. The walk started at Shilparamam and concluded at the Botanical Gardens in Hi-tech City, Cyberabad.
Highlights of the event included an HIV awareness quiz for children and a dance performance, which drew significant public attention. Ganapathy’s Nadayoga Foundation also actively participated, enhancing community engagement and support for the cause.
