Mumbai: In a heartbreaking turn of events, former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique was tragically shot and killed in Mumbai last night.

Despite efforts to save him, Siddique passed away at Lilavati Hospital.

Upon receiving the devastating news, Bollywood actor and close friend Salman Khan rushed to the hospital to console Siddique’s grieving family. Today, Salman further showed his support by arriving at Siddique’s residence to pay his final respects.

In a video shared by popular paparazzo Sneh Zala, Salman Khan was spotted arriving at Baba Siddique’s residence in a black Range Rover, under tight security, with police personnel and security guards stationed at the premises. The video captures the moment Salman’s car entered the residence.

In another video capturing his departure from Baba Siddique’s residence, Salman Khan was visibly emotional and teary-eyed as he made his way through the large crowd gathered outside. The scene was marked by chaos and pandemonium, with fans and onlookers surrounding the actor as he left after paying his respects to the late NCP leader.

Earlier in the day, members of the Khan family were seen arriving at Baba Siddique’s home in Mumbai to pay their respects. The video shows Iulia Vantur, rumored to be Salman’s girlfriend, accompanied by Sohail Khan, Sshura Khan, Arpita Khan Sharma, and Alvira Agnihotri, walking towards Siddique’s residence. They were joined by BJP leader Shaina NC, all dressed in white, a traditional mark of respect.

Following the devastating news of Siddique’s passing last night, Salman Khan reportedly halted the shoot of Bigg Boss 18 to rush to the hospital, where he met with Siddique’s grieving family. The two shared a close bond, with Salman frequently attending Siddique’s Iftar parties over the years. According to reports, Salman has been in constant contact with the family and is helping manage the funeral arrangements.

The Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for Siddique’s death in a Facebook post earlier today, prompting heightened security outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments. The actor has since canceled all meetings and requested privacy, asking his friends in the industry to refrain from visiting him in the coming days.

In the wake of Siddique’s tragic death, the Maharashtra Chief Minister has announced that Siddique will be accorded state honors during his cremation. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Arms Act, and the Maharashtra Police Act.
