Hyderabad: The state’s Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is reportedly recovered unaccounted cash of Rs 40 lakh, and properties and other valuables worth Rs 100 crore during raids at multiple locations associated with Shiva Balakrishna.
He is the secretary of the Telangana State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TSRERA) and former director of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA).
The raids are underway at as many as 16 locations, with 18 teams of the ACB conducting the operations.
The valuables and properties worth Rs 100 crore recovered include gold, mobile phones, bank deposits, and flats, among others.
According to the ACB officials, family members of Shiva Balakrishna are not cooperating with the search operations.
The probe teams are now going through the bank lockers and other assets of Shiva Balakrishna.
