Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has announced the highly anticipated Global AI Summit, scheduled for September 5th and 6th, 2024, at HICC, Hyderabad.
The event’s logo was unveiled by the Minister for ITE&C, Industries & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs, D. Sridhar Babu, along with the Special Chief Secretary of the ITE&C Industries & Commerce Departments, Jayesh Ranjan.
During the launch, the Chief Minister highlighted the significance of the summit, stating, “The Global AI Summit represents our commitment to positioning our state at the forefront of technological innovation. We eagerly welcome thought leaders and innovators from around the world to Hyderabad.”
The summit, themed “Making AI Work for Everyone,” aims to explore the societal benefits and empowerment potential of Artificial Intelligence. It will feature keynote addresses and sessions by global AI experts, tech industry leaders, policymakers, and academicians, covering topics such as AI for social good, safe AI practices, and AI-driven industry transformations.
Sridhar Babu emphasized, “The Global AI Summit showcases Telangana’s dedication to harnessing the power of AI. This event will be a key platform for knowledge sharing, fostering innovation, and exploring AI’s potential to tackle global challenges.”
Expected to attract 2,000 delegates, the summit offers unparalleled opportunities for learning, networking, and collaboration. The event will feature over 50 speakers, including expert keynotes, panel discussions, fireside chats, and lightning demos showcasing cutting-edge AI technologies.
The summit will also see the launch of “Telangana’s AI Compendium” and other significant announcements for the state’s AI ecosystem. The comprehensive agenda is supported by 15+ partners and organized by the Emerging Technologies Wing of the ITE&C Department.
