Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president and former IT minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) extended his best wishes to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Industries and Commerce Minister D Sridhar Babu, who are currently in the USA to attract foreign investments to Telangana.
The delegation, led by CM Revanth Reddy, will also visit South Korea as part of their international tour. In a message on X, KTR expressed his confidence in the mission, emphasizing that Telangana’s development remains a top priority for the BRS. He encouraged the delegation to secure valuable investments from leading global companies.
KTR highlighted the achievements of the previous BRS government under the leadership of K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR), which successfully attracted Rs 4,00,000 crore in investments over the past decade through similar initiatives. He credited the BRS regime for creating a favorable ecosystem for social and economic growth in the state.
Wishing for the continued growth of Telangana, KTR hoped that CM Revanth Reddy would build on the strong foundation laid by the previous BRS administrations. The delegation, which has already arrived in New York, is on a 12-day international trip that includes visits to New York, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., San Francisco in the US, and Seoul in South Korea.
This tour, following a recent foreign trip and a busy budget session in the assembly, aims to engage with multinational companies and secure investment agreements. The delegation is expected to finalize deals worth approximately Rs 16,000 crore, marking another significant step towards Telangana’s economic growth.
