Karimnagar (Telangana): Union Minister of Stte for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar rescued a woman who fell down under a running truck near here on Monday.
According to the Huzurabad Assistant Commissioner of Police, a truck was heading towards Huzurabad from Karimnagar direction. A woman pillion rider of a motorcycle, going close by the vehicle, felll down and got under the truck near Singapoor, 25 km from Karimnagar
“The hair of the woman stuck to a rod under the running truck. The vehicle was stopped immediately. There was no external injuries to the woman”, he said.
A video which is circulating on social media, shows the woman stuck beneath a truck; part of her hair is stuck under one of the tires of the truck. The woman was identified as Divyashree, a resident of Khellada village in Manakondur mandal of Karimnagar district, was traveling on a two-wheeler with her husband and two children.
The woman fell off the vehicle onto the road. Before she could get up, a lorry moving alongside her ran over her hair, which became entangled on a rod near the rear wheel. Unaware of the situation, the lorry driver moved forward slightly, dragging Divyasree along the road. As bystanders and the injured woman screamed for help, the driver stopped the lorry just in time to prevent further harm.
