GinSin London Dry Gin Crowned ‘Best Indian Gin’ By World’s No.1 Spirits Competition

Panjim: GinSin London dry gin triumphed, securing the titles of Best Indian Gin «India Country Winner» and a prestigious Gold medal in the Signature London dry gin category at the world’s largest spirits competition, the World Gin Awards 2025, officially in Norwich, UK.

The first round of tastings determined the medallists on a regional level, with each gold medallist earning the title of category winner. The second round winners competed against each other to determine which products deserve the title of Country Winner. GinSin from the stable of Cheers group took the title of Gold & Best in Country as well.

“We are very honored to have received a ‘Gold medal and Country’s Best Gin’ awards from the world’s biggest competition, which rewards the best of the gins and spirits from all around the globe,” says Dr. Mohan Krishna Balivada, founder of Cheers group and World’s first alco-bev marketing Doctorate.

GinSin is known for the best distilled gin, creating a signature smooth taste and soft mouth feel that has made the brand’s success globally. It is this ‘genius’ gin making process that has made GinSin the most coveted gin brand across the world.

“We love making gin that customers love. We are passionate about our distilling, the taste of our gin, and the quality of cocktails it creates. Our Gins consistently win awards at our home turf in India and around the world,” says Ashwin Balivad, the CEO of Cheers group, who mastered Business Management from Cambridge University, UK.

If you have an outstanding quality gin, but the price and packaging isn’t right, then you don’t, in commercial terms, have a winning spirits brand. GinSin scored highly in all areas, receiving a Gold medal, and Best in Country award, which is from the stable of Goa based luxury spirits conglomerate having bagged over 200 national and international awards for it’s portfolio of 120 brands including famous Kadamba Indian Single-malt whisky and Labrodog Premium Scotch, valued at around INR 800 crores.

Gins are an illustration of how the brand is continuing to innovate in an ever-changing gin industry, whilst remaining true to its values. “With renowned judges from around the world judging the Gins, we are so proud to win the Gold Medal and Best in Country (India) awards from the best globally acclaimed international award competition,” adds Ashwin.

“Our team works hard to make exceptional gin, and by being recognised by the World No.1 competition, we are honored and confident that GinSin will be more appreciated and sure to increase our existing presence worldwide,” adds Dr. Krishna.

Sharp, vivacious nose with menthol, lemon citrus, and a hint of green herbs. The palate shows a nice balance of juniper, spice, and citrus, leading to a warming and peppery finish. It’s Gold medalist GinSin. Ahoy!
