Enjoy Kadamba on the upcoming International Whisky Day, celebrated annually on March 27th.
These accolades not only honor the rich heritage of the Kadamba dynasty, from which the whisky draws its name and symbolizes the Golden Age of Goa, but also firmly establish India as a producer of world-class single-malt whiskies.
The award-winning Kadamba’s Signature Expression started as a single malt whisky in Goa’s sunlit beaches under The Cheers Group’s production leadership. The Cheers Group manufactures this product through a double-distillation method before aging the whisky in bourbon sherry and virgin American oak casks, which results in a distinct, complex, full-bodied taste. The combination of tropical fruits and oaky vanilla aromas led to its recognition as the “Best Indian Single Malt Whisky” while placing it among the top whisky selections of India.
“The awards at Indspirit 2025 serve as a testament to the dedication and expertise of our team, who strive tirelessly to produce Single-malt whiskies that encapsulate the spirit of India. It pushes us to continue to innovate, to challenge the modern world of single malt whiskies and to share our amazing Indian single malt whiskies with those around the world,” says Ashwin Balivada CEO of Cheers group who mastered Business Management from Cambridge University UK.
Crowned with gold medals and global recognition for its exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and elegant design, Kadamba Single-Malt Whiskey has achieved rare gold medals across the collection. From prestigious accolades at USA competitions to triumphs at securing Gold for ‘Best Bottle Design’, ultimately earning the prestigious title of Global Winner for ‘Best Indian Single-Malt Bottle Design’.
