Trump Exposes USAID Meddling: India Must Wake Up

In a rare moment of candor, Donald Trump has openly admitted what India has long suspected—the United States, through USAID, has been interfering in India’s internal affairs. This revelation rips the mask off Washington’s so-called commitment to democracy and exposes the deep state’s insidious operations against sovereign nations.

For years, India has been grappling with well-funded movements that masquerade as grassroots protests but have the unmistakable stench of foreign interference. The farmer protests, the anti-CAA agitations, and a host of other ‘civil society’ uprisings were anything but organic. Now, Trump’s statement has all but confirmed that USAID—under the guise of development assistance—has been pumping funds into disruptive forces within India.

It is no secret that the United States has a long history of using NGOs, human rights organizations, and so-called democracy funds to manipulate nations that refuse to toe its line. USAID has been caught red-handed in multiple countries, working hand in glove with local activists, opposition parties, and hostile media to create unrest. India has been no exception.

The farm protests, for instance, were projected as an indigenous uprising against draconian policies, but deeper scrutiny revealed links to foreign funding and Khalistani separatist elements. Similarly, the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) were fueled by a well-coordinated global propaganda effort, with activist groups receiving funds from dubious sources. The objective? To destabilize India and pressure its government into submission.

While the deep state in the U.S. was busy fanning the flames, the Indian opposition was gleefully playing into their hands. Leaders who should have stood by India’s democratic processes instead found themselves echoing foreign narratives, even at the cost of undermining national security. Whether it was spreading lies about India’s constitutional decisions or vilifying the armed forces for carrying out legitimate counterterror operations, their rhetoric was music to the ears of India’s adversaries.

The most damning part? The opposition’s blatant disregard for national interest extends beyond protests and policy debates. Some leaders have gone so far as to question military operations against rogue neighbors, demoralizing our armed forces and emboldening external enemies. When political leaders openly cast doubts on surgical strikes or question the intent of our defense forces, who exactly are they serving?

This is not just a case of political posturing; it is a systemic attempt to weaken India from within. The global liberal establishment, through its network of NGOs, activists, and complicit politicians, has been working overtime to ensure India remains perpetually unstable.

With Trump’s admission, India must take a hard look at every foreign-funded organization operating on its soil. It is time to shut down the open pipelines of external influence disguised as ‘aid’ and ‘developmental assistance.’ The government must act swiftly to audit, regulate, and, if necessary, expel any entity that compromises India’s sovereignty.

The deep state’s playbook is clear—fund dissent, create chaos, and weaken nations from within. But India is no longer a playground for foreign manipulations. The message must be loud and clear: meddling will not be tolerated, and those complicit will be held accountable. It’s time for India to clean house.
