Shimla: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Monday dubbed the Congress as the “mother of corruption” and asked people to bring the BJP to power in Himachal Pradesh for speedy development.
The chief minister was speaking at the last rally of the BJP’s Parivartan Yatra in the state that began on July 18 last year. The party’s campaign has covered all the assembly constituencies of Himachal Pradesh.
“The Congress is the mother of corruption. It has divided the country on the basis of caste and religion, and hampered development,” he said in Una.
He asked the people of Himachal Pradesh to vote for the BJP to ensure speedy development and corruption-free governance.
Yogi also accused the Congress of rampant corruption and “mafia raj” in the state.
The chief minister said that he would campaign in Himachal Pradesh for the assembly elections.
The yatras started from religious places and culminated at famous shrines. The Mandi yatra culminated on July 4, the Shimla on July 5, the Kangra on July 8 and Hamirpur ended today.
