Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad on Wednesday detained nine youth from three districts in the state for having alleged ISIS links.
As per officials, searches and seizures were carried out at 5 different locations in Mumbra, Thane and Aurangabad districts during the intervening night and early Wednesday morning.
The cops got reliable input about a group aligned with the proscribed international terrorist organisation.
Certain chemicals, powder, mobile phones, hard drives SIM cards, acid bottle, sharp knives etc seized during the searches.
A Case has been registered under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 1967, with further investigation underway.
